People often ask how I got into design while originally wanting to pursue a career in psychology.
The truth is — both have always been part of who I am.
As a child, I loved drawing and creating. Creativity came naturally to me. But just as strong was my desire to connect with people on a deeper level. I was never interested in surface-level conversations or small talk. I wanted to understand people — how they think, what they feel, and why they experience the world the way they do.
I used to think that made me “different.” I was often labeled an introvert. Crowds drained me. But meaningful one-on-one conversations energized me.
I remember watching my aunt pursue her degree in psychology, and something clicked. I promised myself at a young age that one day, I would become a psychologist and help people understand themselves better.
As I grew up in an era shaped by rapid technological evolution, I realized there was another path unfolding in front of me. I pursued a degree in Information Technology, where I developed strong technical skills while continuing to design graphics and websites on the side.
Over time, I saw the connection.
My love for psychology.
My passion for creativity.
My technical background.
My desire to serve.
